The Healing in Editing & Photography
Here are a few photos that I have edited and got a little creative with. The photos are edited based on how I feel on certain days. This past week my emotions was a roller coaster ride of fun, colorful, happy, and sad days.Yet, I'm recovering from my depression with no medication. I refuse to take the medication because I have found something else that helps me, photography and editing. True Story!!

Elena Kamai
I'm pretty excited to be posting these ones because I
finally got to do her pictures. The first shoot (with her brothers) she
didn't look her best. This time, she got the cutest outfit picked out
just for her photos. So, I wanted to re-do her pictures and just focus
on her. She did a really good job in the cold and trying to pose. Thanks
to her parents for letting me do her pictures.

The Kamai Sisters
Another fun photo shoot!!! This time I was working with my mom and aunties. The sun set had gone down before the rest of the aunties got a chance to get to location but the rest turned out alright. I'm glad they loved their photos and had fun freezing by the warm fire pits.

Photography Healing
Behind everyone of these photos lies a story of a situation that
happened not to long ago, a few months maybe. Every time I feel down and
low, this is what I do to help pick myself back up again. This is how I
express my feelings, through my editing and photography. The only way I
know how to let things go and become myself again.

Palina Austin-Weischedel Bridals
I'm glad it was nice and sunny today or else her dress would've gotten ruined. I'm still learning about how to shoot in "Manual mode" on my camera, so some pictures may be a little bright. I did enjoy
this shoot though. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Now, this was the fastest shoot I've ever done so far. The youngest (K.J) had a runny nose and a cold but he still wanted to take pictures. Both of them were good participants and I had a fun time with them. They sang songs and played while I captured the moments. The oldest one (Kepa) is a natural little model. He made his own facial expressions and sometimes even got lost in the "model mode" zone. It was a blast working with my little nephews this morning in the cold, sunny weather. Big thanks to his parents and grand-dad for bringing them to me and letting me take their pictures.
